Any company in Romania, payer of income or profit tax, has the possibility to redirect up to 20% of the value of the tax to a social cause. This is done with no cost by the company and comes with the benefit of reducing the tax base with the equivalent of sponsorship, but not more than 5% of taxable income, according to law no. 32/1994.
